Ad Making Contest (AWKUM and EM)

Introduction

Abdul Wali Khan University organized many competitions, programs or you can simply say events for students to participate and showcase your talent to judges. Being student your job is to be well-groomed in environment where you can get multi-functional platforms to use your skills to others and in future get paid for it.
Something like this AWKUM arranged a competition, will be sponsored by "Educationary-Mardan", which "Ad Making" of 1 Minute (60 seconds) video on EM,
So, now its up to you how much creative you are and how you can evolve your skills in certain level that you can benefit from it.

The Entrepreneurship society Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) in collaboration with Educationary Mardan and Department of Management Sciences AWKUM is going to organize One day seminar on the topic” Your thoughts can destroy you” and advertisement making competition on Thursday January 12, 2016 at 10.30 AM in the Department of Management Sciences, Garden Campus.
 

Ad Making Competition

"This competition will provide a platform to the students of AWKUM to showcase their creative abilities by attracting the audience’ attention and impressing our judges. The winners will be awarded a cash prize and winner’s certificate. The competition is open for students of Department of Management Sciences, Economics, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Pukhtunkhwa College of Arts (PCA) and Entrepreneurship Society members including Alumni of Entrepreneurship Society. The team for the AD making should comprise of 3-5 student. Teams are requested to submit their AD in video format on or before January 10, 2016 to Mr. Shah Hussain Awan (Coordinator, Business Incubation Center), shah.awan@awkum.edu.pk"

 Mr. Shah Hussain contributed their efforts towards such "Talent-Hunt" programs and we will see more from them in future.

Rules for Ad Making

1. All the teams will be required to make an advert for Educationary Mardan highlighting institutional impact and abilities when it comes to personality development and general grooming.
2. Maximum time allowed for the advert is 1 minute (60 seconds).
3. Longer ads may be penalised unless the quality of ad compensates for the longer duration.
4. The Ad will be assessed on the basis of:
a. Creativity
b. Originality (The ad must not be the direct copy of already-existing ad)
c. Communication (The message should be clear and engaging. The ability of the ad to get its message across to audience)
d. Non-controversial (The ad must not be controversial in terms of culture and religion. Also, it must not have any political agenda)
5. The ads should be shot in good quality (video and audio should be clear)
6. The ads will be screened during the event.
8. NB. EM will have the authority to use any of these ads for their advertisement with reference and credit to the creators of the Ads. (This is a great opportunity to showcase your talent to a larger audience through electronic and social media)
